The Graduate
Benjamin has just returned from four years at college. He has good grades, a scholarship, proud, rich parents with affluent friends. All are downstairs waiting to congratulate Ben but Ben has other things on his mind. He is bored with his life and its trajectory. He is naive, but wants more and wants to leave with nothing but the clothes on his back and the money in his pocket.
Then Mrs Robinson, his father's business partner's sexy wife, enters the solace of Ben's bedroom and her advances add to his confusion. Ben is completely lost until he meets the love of his life, Elaine. Elaine is Mrs Robinson's daughter, and she will stop at nothing to make sure these two lovers remain separted forever.
The Graduate is a cult classic movie originally starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft. Exciting and sensually brought to life on stage at Theatre Eight starring Angus Chadbourne as Benjamin and Kath Jones as Mrs Robinson.
