About
Join Defence Families of Australia (DFA) National Advocate, Charlotte Webb, and Regional Delegate, Samantha Cooper, for a Defence Family Feedback Session at the Mates4Mates Centre, Stuart Highway, Stuart Park. Entry via Ramirez Road.Who are Defence Families of Australia?
Defence Families of Australia is the Ministerially appointed advisory body to Defence and Government on matters affecting Australian Defence Force (ADF) families. DFA represents the experiences and perspectives of defence families to help shape policy, services and support.
What is the goal of this session?
The purpose is to capture the challenges and service gaps impacting defence families at both a national and regional level. Participants will be encouraged to share their lived experiences and contribute ideas and potential solutions to help overcome these challenges.
The outcomes of the session will be used to inform current and future advocacy work, ensuring the voices of defence families in our region are heard and reflected in discussions with Defence and Government.
This is an opportunity for defence families to connect, raise issues that matter to them and influence positive change.
All defence members and/or their families are encouraged to attend, children are welcome and snacks will be provided by Mates4Mates who are supporting this event.
