A new walk added to our Claremont Meanders series to commemorate the launch of the Poppy Street Signs Project. Come along to find out about the streets in Claremont that have been named to remember times of conflict and courage. Visit the memorials, learn the importance of key locations such as the Showgrounds, railway Station and Drill Hall and hear stories of exceptional courage and resilience.Led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteer guides this free walking series is a great way to learn more about your suburb. The walk is FREE and will commence at the Claremont Museum and end at FORM Gallery and Cafe where attendees may purchase coffee and stay for a chat.
