With the increasing cost of living & limited opportunities in the teaching of practical aspects of urogynaecology, the Mercy Urogynaecology team with the support of Mercy Health and our esteemed colleagues have decided to run an interactive pelvic floor meeting on Saturday 23rd October 2026. The emphasis will be on practical topics that are sometimes not well covered in our teachings and conferences; and also to allow ample opportunities for interactive discussions.On the Friday before the symposium, we will run 4 half day surgical sessions allowing limited number of delegates opportunity for live surgical observation and interactive discussions of surgical techniques. Subject to availability ( we will try to book interesting cases), potential surgical cases could include uterosacral ligament suspension, Manchester repair, highly modified culdoplasty, fascia lata reinforced repairs, fascial slings, colpocleisis, urethral diverticulectomy or fistula repair. As places are limited and hospital credentialing is required, interested parties are encouraged to book early.
This event will benefit any consultants and trainees with interest in the management of female pelvic floor disorders.
