Free Comic Book Day: Zine Workshop (youth)
In this 90-minute session Siobhan (owner of Cockatoo Comics) will take participants through the fundamentals of comic making, from zine folding to using the visual language of comics to tell your story. Every participant will leave with their own mini comic and the skills to continue creating!
About the presenter
Siobhan Coombs is a comics retailer and educator who has worked in the industry for over 15 years. She owns and operates the independent comic book store Cockatoo Comics. She brings her boundless enthusiasm for comics to every workshop and loves helping everyone realise their comic-making potential!
Free event, youth must be in high school years 7-12, bookings essential.
