This season, the Eastern Suns will be integrating our domestic clubs into our NBL1 Men’s and NBL1 Women’s game days to create an unforgettable experience for junior players, coaches, families and our wider basketball community. The goal is to strengthen connections with our local clubs, celebrate grassroots basketball and inspire the next generation of Suns.
Our club as been selectes have been allocated Saturday 16th of May (at Ray Owen Sports Centre) with the women’s game tipping off at 6.30pm and the men’s game following tipping off at 8.30pm.
What the game day experience includes:
A Guard of Honour formed by your players as our NBL1 Men’s and NBL1 Women’s teams take the court
A half-time mini game during both the men’s and women’s games (10 players can participate in each game)
Assist with floor sweeping (court wiping) during game breaks (wiping the court if a referee asks them to during the game, eg if a player falls down)
Being fully immersed in the game day experience, including behind-the-scenes moments and crowd engagement
Each participating player will also receive four (4) tickets (one complementary ticket for themselves, plus 3 additional complementary tickets) to the game so family and friends can be part of the excitement.
