About
Vetfordia 2026 is a relaxed, feel-good festival for people who love animals, music, community, and a good Sunday out.Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Bring your dog. Bring a picnic rug and settle in for a beautiful day at Samford Showgrounds.
Wander between live music, creative workshops, wellness sessions, kids’ activities, community conversations, and easy moments of connection. There’s no pressure to do it all - come for what lights you up, rest when you need to, and enjoy the kind of day that helps you switch off properly.
Dogs are welcome this year - they must be well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable in a community event setting.
The main festival day is Sunday 11 October 2026, with optional on-site camping available if you’d like to arrive Saturday and make a weekend of it.
At its heart, Vetfordia is also about something deeper.
The veterinary industry is under real pressure, with burnout, compassion fatigue, mental health challenges, and people leaving the profession becoming harder to ignore.
Vetfordia creates space for vets, vet nurses, healthcare workers, pet owners, families, and the wider community to come together - not in a heavy way, but in a human way. Through music, conversation, laughter, creativity, and connection, we’re here to celebrate the people who care so deeply for our animals.
All profits from Vetfordia will be donated to Sophie’s Legacy, helping raise awareness and drive change in veterinary mental health.

What to expect
Live music throughout the day
