The Port Augusta City Council and Yarta Purtli Art Gallery warmly invite you to celebrate the opening of the Malka Aboriginal Art Prize 2026, a vibrant showcase of Aboriginal art, culture, and storytelling.Now in its 17th year, Malka continues to honour the vision of Mr. Marvin McKenzie Senior, providing a platform for Aboriginal artists from the Far North, Mid North, and Eyre Peninsula to share their connection to Country through creative expression.
Join us for an afternoon of art, community, and cultural celebration as we officially open this year’s exhibition and recognise the incredible talent of participating artists across all categories.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special event as we celebrate the stories, creativity, and cultural strength of Aboriginal artists in our region.
