PAINTING CLASS:HORSE HEAD with Ballina Artist Esther Watt

Join us for a Step-by-Step session where you'll learn to draw and paint a realistic horse's head. Perfect for BEEF WEEK and all the country lovers! Great for artists who want to build confidence in their painting abilities.
YOUR TEACHER:
Esther Watt is an artist, art teacher and art therapist currently based in the Northern Rivers. Esther has held art & art therapy workshops in places such as Armidale, Brisbane and most recently Ballina for both Adults & Children.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
• How to block in a horse's head using simple shapes and accurate proportions
• Tips on drawing expressive facial features
• Light and Shadow to create believable 3D form
• Colour Mixing for natural coat tones with shadows and highlights
PARTICIPANTS:
Beginners to intermediates are welcome!! No prior horse drawing experience necessary. These classes are provided with full guidance throughout!
The Beef Week Classes are tailored for Adults (however they are open for children over 12 years who have a strong interest in painting or art).
