Since the previous few years' inspection system as a BBQ at the lake was a massive success for members and safety officers, the club has decided to continue this system.Saturday 16th May 2026 9:00am – 12:00pm, Sunday 7th June 9:00am – 12:00pm, Darren Bates, our Senior Safety Officer, with the assistance of our other safety officers and the support of the executive committee will conduct inspections in the licence area at Lake Kurwongbah.
If these dates do not suit you, it will be up to you to make other arrangements with one of our safety officers. If your boat insurance has a "Lay-up" period, it is strongly suggested you take this opportunity to have it inspected before the lay-up period starts.
Please ensure all required safety equipment is in the boat for inspection.
The inspectors are witnessing that you have complied with LKWSZ Bylaws and MSQ rules. If for any reason you are unsure if your vessel complies you may seek professional advice.
