We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the cast of OLIVER! is heading into the recording booth!To capture a world-class sound for our upcoming performances, we will be recording our vocals at Sonora Studios—a premier professional facility right here in Tuggerah Business Park. This is an exciting opportunity for our students to experience a high-level, real-world vocal recording environment.
As seen in our Lee Academy Key Event Dates for 2026, we have a performance of OLIVER! at Dance Life Unite (Central Coast)
Please note that the recording fee below includes the performer entry fee for the OLIVER! cast in this competition.
We will share further details regarding the specific time and date as soon as they are released.
Recording Studio Session Details:
Date: Tuesday, 5th May 2026
Location: Sonora Studios (23/4 Colony Cl, Tuggerah NSW 2259)
Important Note: There will be no Musical Theatre Extension class held at Lee Academy studios on this day.
Travel: Transport to and from Sonora Studios remains the responsibility of parents and guardians.
The Schedule:
4:25 pm: Arrival (Please note that Lee Academy staff will not be on-site before this time)
4:30 pm – 6:00 pm: ALL CAST (Musical Theatre Extension Team)
6:00 pm – 6:15 pm: Where is Love Soloists ONLY
6:00 pm: Prompt pick-up for all other students
*Special Note: If you have a 4:00pm private lesson at Lee Academy, you may arrive 10 minutes late to the recording session.
Evening Classes at Lee Academy studios on May 5th 2026:
6pm-7:15pm NO Junior Performance Extension (Miss Jo)
6pm-7:30pm NO Senior Classical Ballet Extension PROGRAM (Miss Jemma)
7:45pm-9pm YES Senior Performance Extension Team #1/2 IS ON (Miss Jemma)
Booking & Cost
Cost: $20 per student (Includes recording studio time + Dance Life Unite Central Coast entry)
Registration: Bookings are compulsory
Deadline: Midnight, Sunday 3rd May 2026
Miss Katie will be working with specific groups inside the recording facility, while our two assistants supervise the group outside.
We cannot wait to hear these timeless songs come to life in a professional setting!
