The band is Mike Rudd’s Indelibles, - the show is a concert, a dance party, it’s iconic Australian music from the last half century.Featuring Australian prog-rock legend Mike Rudd (Spectrum, Indelible Murtcepts and Ariel) playing a swampy roots mix of blues, rock and hits dating back from 1969 onwards!
Described as a musical visionary the bands Rudd founded in the 1970's, Spectrum/The Indelible Murtceps and Ariel took Australian rock music to another level.
Spectrum released four LPs and several singles, including their national No. 1 hit single “I’ll Be Gone”, which has remained one of the best-known songs of the last 50 years, and also the first Australian rock double album, “Milesago”. The group also worked under the alter ego the “Indelible Murtceps” in the early 1970’s.
Today the Indelibles are - Mike Rudd (guitar, blues harp and vocals), Peter 'Robbo' Robertson (drums), Broc O'Connor (bass), and Daryl Roberts (‘Hey Gringo’ - keyboards)
