VU Vultures Netball Club (VUVNC) participates in the graded competition at at Parkville, Wyndham and Altona Netball Associations.If you wish to play for VU in Spring 2026 you must register via this link. Those who do not register WILL NOT be considered for teams.
Deadline for submission is - Friday 1st May.
For any potential new players we will contact you with more information should a trial be required.
While we would love to accommodate every player, team places are limited. Selections are influenced by:
- Association limits on team entries
- Availability of coaches
- Our VU Vultures vision as a pathway and high-performance netball program
This means not all registered players will be offered a position, and selections will reflect both development opportunities and performance standards.
🏐 What Are Coaches Looking For?
Selection for the upcoming season will be based on a mix of coach feedback, game day performance, and training attendance.
💪 COMMITMENT: Show up. Work hard. Every game, every training, every cheer counts. Coaches have tracked attendance at training and games throughout the season. We understand there are reasons a player is unable to maintain 100% attendance (Rep commitments, family events, etc.). However, a high level of commitment is required.
🔥 PASSION: To earn a spot in a higher division, we’re looking for players who stay engaged, cheering and supporting teammates on and off the court. On court, passion means playing with hunger and intensity until the final whistle.
🧠 COURAGE: Strong netballers step up to new positions, techniques, and game styles, embracing every challenge. For higher team selection, we value those who overcome both on and off-court challenges and are always prepared to do what is best for their team.
🤝 SPORTSMANSHIP: Respect is everything. Coaches don’t only look for a great work ethic and on-court performance. On and off the court, we expect VU athletes to lead with integrity. Respect your Coaches, Teammates, Coaches and opposition.
