About

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a musical based on the 1964 children's novel by Roald Dahl, with book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman. The story follows impoverished, kind-hearted Charlie Bucket, who wins a golden ticket to tour eccentric Willy Wonka’s magical, hidden factory, ultimately outlasting four greedy children to become the new owner.
