Mansfield Lantern Festival 2026

 Every year at the winter solstice, something quietly magical happens in Mansfield. The streets fill with light, open fires crackle in the cold, and hundreds of handmade lanterns move through town carried by people who've come from near and far to be part of something together.
The 2026 Mansfield Lantern Festival runs across a full winter weekend - Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June - in the heart of the High Country at the foot of Mt Buller.

What's on:
🕯️ Friday 19 June - Welcome to Country, firelight opening ceremony, lantern-making workshops and a ticketed La Festa Della Luce (Feast of Light) dinner
🏮 Saturday 20 June - The Community Bank Mansfield & District Lantern Parade, open fires, music, local food and drink, & performers
🌅 Sunday 21 June - Sunrise yoga among the lanterns, followed by a solstice brunch
