This is an adult step dancing workshop suitable for those aged 12 years and over.Participants will be taught a simple treble jig. They should wear any shoes with a leather or similar sole. Trainers are not ideal
Kathryn Trenholme is the principal teacher with Scoil Rince Tir an Oir, a small and friendly dancing school based in the Belconnen area. Scoil Rince Tir an Oir is one of the oldest schools in Canberra, originally called the Trenholme School.. Kathryn began dancing at the age of 9 and has been involved in Irish Dancing for over 50 years.
This workshop is part of Seachtain de Chultúr na hÉireann (A Week of Irish Culture) hosted by Comhaltas Canberra and supported by the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Program
