This 'We Are All Heroes Here' live art installation by artist Andrew Baines and Lutheran Care in the heart of Rundle Mall for National Volunteer Week 2026 celebrates our volunteers as the real-life superheroes they are!Volunteers are the humble heroes who strengthen communities and amplify the good in the world. This National Volunteer Week event celebrates them and invites others to step forward and join in.
This live installation brings together volunteers from across the community, all ‘suited up’ in capes alongside special guest superheroes, to celebrate the impact of volunteering.
Hosted by Lutheran Care and Andrew Baines, and supported by Volunteers SA/NT, the event will see media and sporting personality Mark Soderstrom chatting with volunteers, alongside music, conversation, information, and light refreshments for volunteers.
