Witches… Something magical is brewing and we want you to be there!
Practical Magic wasn’t just a movie for a lot of us. In some way, It shaped a whole generation of witches, softened something in us, cracked something open too… and made us believe (or remember) that the magic we were looking for was never really outside of us to begin with. The magic of that first movie left a stamp on our hearts.
So we thought why not gather up our local witches and ask them to join us for the private screening of Practical Magic 2.
In the gorgeous Sun Theatre — Plush lounge seats, space for your snacks, that old-world glow that makes everything feel slightly unreal.
Hosted by Cosmic Witch Society x Ayrmid Sage this is your excuse to dress like the version of you that already knows they are a little bit magic, gather your witches, and actually do the thing together instead of just dreaming about it alone on your phone at 1am.
This is the kind of movie you want to see in a cinema amongst friends that get it.
You’ll get a lux witchy gift bag on arrival full of treats and yes… it’s a licensed venue, so don’t be surprised if a Midnight Marg or two starts loosening everyone up before the opening credits even roll.
It’s also ridiculously easy to get to — 1 minute walk from the train station, with plenty of parking out the back if you’re driving in. And Yarraville village? Full of wine bars, pubs, and little restaurants that are perfect for pre-movie catch-ups or that post-film debrief.
