Peek behind the sandstone walls and get a kid's eye view of what Parliament is all about. Come on a guided tour of the building, learn about the symbols and traditions of our Parliament, create your own "Premier's portrait" and add your leaf to the Parliament-Tree.
The building is open to ticket holders from 10 am to 12.30 pm. When booking, choose a tour time, and then allow yourself some time either before or after to take part in parliamentary-themed art and craft.
This event is suitable for young people aged 5 - 12 and their carers. Adults must stay with their children for the event.
Venue information
There is no parking onsite at Parliament House. Please see the Hobart City Council website (www.hobartcity.com.au) for parking options. If you require disabled parking, please contact the Parliament of Tasmania Education Office on 6212 2275 or at education@parliament.tas.gov.au.
Please note, the Parliament is a secure building and all people entering the building will pass through security screening.
