The Morningside Panthers AFL Legends Lunch 2026 headline guest is AFL royalty — Dermott Brereton. A five-time premiership player, All Australian and Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee, Dermott is one of the most fearless, charismatic and entertaining figures the game has ever seen.Hear firsthand stories from the legendary Hawthorn era, his insights on the modern game, and the moments that defined one of football’s great careers. It’s a must-attend for any true AFL fan.
Following lunch, the entertainment continues with one of Australia’s most respected comedians, Dave O'Neil — a brilliant storyteller, seasoned writer and regular voice across television and radio. Expect plenty of laughs to finish the day.
You’ll also be joined by a number of our regular VIP football favourites, adding to what is always a fantastic atmosphere in the room. Guiding us through the day is Ben Davis, one of Brisbane’s most recognisable sporting voices will once again bring his trademark energy, insight and humour to ensure the day flows seamlessly.
