Here we go for the fourth year in a row... Tournament for Type 1 2026!Calling all Netballers and Type 1 Diabetics to come participate once more in Tournament for Type 1! A Charity Netball Tournament with the intention to raise money and awareness for those living with Type 1 Diabetes. Our goal is to show the diabetics who play netball that they are not alone in a sport they love!
This year scheduled for the last Saturday of the September/October school holidays, games will commence at 2:30pm but the venue opens at 2pm! The night will conclude at 10pm.
Be prepared for a fun night of games, raffles, activations, awards and competition. For the Diabetics: show off your pens and devices, and grab a hypo kit upon entry. For the Netballers: show your support by playing alongside or for Type 1s. Bring your friends, get colourful, make a team and enter.
Only 1 entry per team is required.
This year we are doing things differently. 'Mixed' has been removed and been replaced by Mixed Competitive and Mixed for Fun, to be more in line with our other Opens Divisions.
Our 6 Divisions for 2026 are now: 13s&Under, 15/17s, Opens Mixed Competitive, Opens Mixed For Fun, Opens Competitive, Opens For Fun
All money raised will go towards the Type 1 Foundation!
