About

An Archery Experience session for beginners, no experience required

2.5 hours of fun for ages 12+ with all equipment provided.

Qualified coaches will guide you through:
- Essential range safety
- How to handle a bow and load and release an arrow
- Using sights and understanding scoring
- Plenty of practice time with a social break to meet others and chat about archery
- A fun activity to wrap up the session

Just bring your hat, water bottle, and enthusiasm.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session time (8:45 am).
Location is the Redcliffe City Clay Target Club at 267 Duffield Road, Clontarf QLD 4019. Upon arrival, check in with the archery coaches or staff at the range area.

Special Requirements

Please tie back long hair and ensure any jewellery does not interfere with the equipment. The beginner course is designed for participants aged 12 years and above who can follow instructions and take part in a group setting, either independently or with an assistant if required.

Restrictions

Participants must be at least 12 years of age and physically capable of holding approximately 8 kg in their dominant hand. Camouflage clothing is not permitted, and open-toe footwear (such as sandals or thongs) is prohibited. All participants must have a zero blood alcohol concentration prior to participating.
