To Be Human is a one-day conference hosted by Ratio Christi Australia, designed for university students and young adults exploring one of life’s most important questions: what does it mean to be human?In a culture increasingly uncertain about identity, dignity, and truth, this conference brings together Australian and international speakers — featuring leading Christian philosopher and apologist Paul Copan — to offer thoughtful, intellectually grounded, and accessible insights into the foundations of human value and purpose.
Across the day, you’ll engage with topics such as personhood, human rights, and ethical decision-making, and gain the clarity and confidence to think critically and respond to today’s most pressing cultural questions.
Additional speakers include Bill Scott, Jane Pantig, Chris Stockman, Duncan Schotanus, and David Graieg.
No prior background is needed. Whether you’re curious, questioning, or looking to deepen your understanding, this conference offers a welcoming environment for learning, reflection, and meaningful discussion.
