Jarabi
Led by Guinean master musician Mohamed Camara, Jarabi delivers a powerful musical journey from the ancient Manding Empire of West Africa to contemporary Melbourne.
Blending traditional Guinean rhythms with modern influences, Jarabi’s music is joyful, dynamic and deeply unifying. Their debut album Duniama – In This World earned national recognition, and the band has performed at major festivals and venues across Australia.
With infectious energy and irresistible grooves, Jarabi creates performances that ignite the stage and fill the dance floor.
Yuval Ashkar Trio
Emerging jazz guitarist Tony Yang—first spotted on the Clayton Festival Youth Stage—opens the evening with his trio.
A rising talent in Melbourne’s jazz scene, Tony is currently studying Jazz and Improvisation at the University of Melbourne and regularly performs at leading venues across the city.
