2026 Educational Partnerships: Supporting a Gifted Child
About
Join us for an engaging evening focused on strengthening the partnership between families and our school to support high-ability learners. Together, we’ll build a shared understanding of how students grow, beginning with the distinction between natural gifts and developed talents. We’ll also explore the unique needs of twice-exceptional (2e) learners—students who combine high potential with additional learning challenges—and how close collaboration between home and school helps them thrive. You’ll gain insight into how we use a range of data to guide program decisions, as well as the enrichment and extension opportunities we provide to challenge students in their everyday learning.
Most importantly, the evening will highlight practical ways families and teachers can work together to support each child’s wellbeing, nurture their strengths, and create a consistent, supportive learning experience between school and home.
