We will be holding a referee and table official training session at the dojo on Thursday 7 May, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
This session is for any students who would like to help at the upcoming tournament on 15 May. It is mandatory for anyone who wants to referee at the tournament, but it is also open to students who would like to help as table officials.
You do not need to have competed before to assist as a table official. This is a great opportunity to learn how tournaments work, understand the rules more clearly, and support the running of the event.
The session will cover the basics of:
Referee roles and expectations
KSI Rules training
Table official duties
Scoring and timekeeping basics
Competition flow and communication
How to support a safe and well-run tournament
