Discover a New Way of Plumbing
INTRODUCTION
The vision and desired outcomes of architects and their clients can often be limited by the inaccessibility of traditional gravity drainage systems.
This CPD presentation explores how these constraints can be overcome by defying gravity through alternative drainage solutions.
BIOGRAPHY
Nick has been involved in the plumbing industry for over 40 years and has been with SFA Pumps (Saniflo) since 2012.
Recognising that many architects were unaware of these innovative solutions, he set out to raise awareness in a professional and accessible way. In 2017, he developed his first CPD presentation. Since then, Nick has created four additional CPDs and technical presentations for hydraulic consultants.
With these products forming part of a plumber’s formal qualification, Nick has also developed learning materials for TAFE teachers and students.
AT THE END OF THE PRESENTATION, ATTENDEES WILL BE ABLE TO:
• Explain the purpose of macerator pumps
• Identify when to specify grey water pumps
• Describe when to select lifting stations
• Explain basic pumping principles and applications
