2026 Mathematics Challenge for Young Australians
The MCYA is an opt-in experience for students who have a strong maths background and are keen to extend their mathematical knowledge.
Students who are participating in the Challenge are required to work independently through problems. Each problem has several parts and may take some time to solve. Students must individually write up their own solutions for each problem. Teacher support will be available via one lunch time meeting per week. In addition to this students may need to spend at least another hour or two each week working on the challenge at home.
