Under 8s Day – Parent Volunteers (P–2)

Event Description:We are looking forward to celebrating Under 8s Day on Wednesday 3rd June with a fun morning of play-based activities for our Prep to Year 2 students, alongside visiting kindergarten children.
To support the smooth running of the day, we are seeking parent volunteers to assist in one of the following roles:
Group Leader
Support a small group of students as they move through activity rotations. Teachers will provide guidance and your role will be to help keep the group together, engaged and on schedule.
Activity Station Support
Assist at a play-based activity station. All activities will be set up in advance. This role involves explaining the activity, supporting students and supervising play.
Face Painting
Support the face painting station. This role is best suited to volunteers who are confident with face painting or willing to assist with simple designs.
Sausage Sizzle
Assist with setting up, cooking, serving and/or packing up the sausage sizzle.
No prior experience is required for most roles and a brief overview will be provided on arrival.
This event relies on the support of our parent community and we greatly appreciate any assistance you are able to offer. Your involvement helps create a positive and engaging experience for all students.
