Join us for an unforgettable evening of Carnatic music in support of John Hunter Children’s Hospital Cancer Research!Veenamirdam - A traditional Indian music concert featuring Ramana Balachandhran on the Veena — one of India’s most celebrated young classical musicians — and Dr Patri Satish Kumar on the Mridangam, an inimitable virtuoso of South Indian percussion.
The duo will perform compositions and improvisation from the Carnatic tradition - both a virtuosic and soulful showcase of melody, rhythm and a deep dialogue between artists.
