ACA Webinar | Introduction to Play Therapy (SCCC)
About
This live, interactive, online presentation provides a practical introduction to play therapy. Toys are children's words and play is their language. To really understand and help children, we need to allow children opportunities to express themselves in their own language through play and art. Learn how play therapy works, the different forms it can take and how you can explain it to others.Suitable for all counsellors working with children, you can consider the benefits of play therapy, the theory and evidence behind its usefulness and practical ways to incorporate it into your counselling with children.
Presented by Jacki Short.
