Set sail on a thrilling adventure with Treasure Island. Follow young Jim Hawkins in the discovery of a mysterious map and embark on a journey across the seas in search of hidden treasure. Along the way, we'll encounter a lively crew of sailors, unexpected friendships, and plenty of twists and turns. This classic tale is filled with humour, excitement, and heart.
This play is an adaptation of the original novel by Robert Louis Stevenson which, as an historical adventure story, includes themes of mortality and adaptations of pirate characters. Though our pirates are often funny, they are also fierce and threatening at times; something to be aware of for younger audience members.
This production contains the use of theatrical lighting effects, including flashing lights, as well as loud sound effects/music and the use of haze and/or smoke. These elements may affect patrons with sensitivities or respiratory conditions.
