About
Last year we launched our Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and now we’re bringing it to life.As part of our focus on supporting healthier lifestyles, we’re exploring the possibility of developing a Healthy Choices Policy based on the Victorian Healthy Choices Framework. The policy could apply where Council funds are used and at Council owned and/or managed community (and staff) facilities, festivals and events.
The Healthy Choices Framework aims to:
- Increase the availability and promotion of healthier food and drink options
- Reduce the availability and promotion of less healthy options
- Make the healthy choice the easy choice
For session 1, we are inviting facility managers and staff, festival and event planners, EAs, and social club to have your say.
