About Steve Southon
Steve has been NAB’s Chief Tax Officer since March 2013 and brings more than 33 years’ experience in taxation across a wide range of sectors — from small business through to international banking.
He holds Bachelor degrees in Financial Administration and Law, along with Masters degrees in Taxation and Law, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Steve is a past President of The Corporate Tax Association and has served on the Board of Taxation Experts Panel. He is currently Co-Chair of the Large Business Stewardship Group alongside the ATO Deputy Commissioner of Public Groups.
