Supporting Positive MasculinityJoin us for our second BGK Youth Network meeting on Thursday 11th June from 10:00am to 11:30am at Platform 81, 81 Albert St, Mordialloc.
We will be joined by keynote speakers from The Man Cave.
Navigating the Manosphere is a practical session for youth workers, school nurses, mentors, educators and role models about: what the manosphere is, the real impacts, and why boys are drawn in. The presentation is clear, honest, and hopeful, without panic. Participants will leave with concrete steps for talking with young men and a “village response” that helps guide boys toward healthier identities, relationships, and positive online influences.
What are the outcomes of the session?
• Increased awareness of what the manosphere is, who it impacts and why it matters right now.
• Deeper understanding of why boys and young men are drawn into it.
• Guidance for knowing what to do next, and how to feel more equipped to respond.
Please arrive by 10am for a prompt start at 10.05am.
Parking is limited in the surrounding streets.
Morning tea will be provided.
