Embedding First Nation Culture in Early Years Settings (SOLD OUT)
Join Little Green Steps and Belinda Cox from Djirrily Dreaming as we explore aspects of Noongar culture and how to embed First Nation culture into your service.
Belinda will help you gain a better understanding of Noongar belief systems and culture. Learn best practise and the skills needed to confidently deliver Noongar related programs according to cultural sensitives. Understand family dynamics and what they may look like to better connect with Aboriginal communities and how to make Aboriginal children and their families feel welcome in your service.
Engage with Noongar language and activities which can be implemented in your services, with learning links to the WA Curriculum and Early Year Outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for educators to prepare for the upcoming reconciliation week and NAIDOC week events.
