Supreme Court Building Tour - Hobart

As part of Law Week 2026, you’re invited on a tour of the Supreme Court in Hobart. Established in 1824 as the highest Court in the State, it deals with criminal cases and civil disputes, as well as hearing appeals from the Magistrates Court and statutory tribunals. Come along and see where the Judges, barristers, witnesses and jurors perform their duties. The Civil Courtrooms and registries will be open for inspection. The the Court Registrar and the original architect Mr Peter Partridge will accompany this tour. Mr Partridge will provide his unique insights into the design of the building.Numbers are limited. Approx 1.5 hours duration.
This event is free of charge but bookings are essential. Please note that photo ID must be presented on arrival. The Supreme Court reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
