A fresh take on fashion is coming to the Glass House Hinterland, inviting locals to rethink their wardrobes while enjoying an evening of music, connection and conscious living. The upcoming Clothes Swap event promises a lively, feel-good experience where style meets sustainability — complete with music, tasty nibbles, and a relaxed BYO atmosphere.Guests can bring up to 5 clean, gently worn items (clothing, shoes, and accessories). Once the swap begins, guests are free to walk around and look through all the items they would like to take home, giving each piece a second chance to be worn and appreciated by someone new. Complete with a changing area, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and browsing will involve digging through piles to find pieces that interest you, expect a bit of rummaging and lots of fun!
Leftover items will be donated to a local charity, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Beyond the racks, the event offers a chance to learn more about mindful consumption and connect with like-minded people who care about fashion and the planet.
The Second Stitch Collective Clothes Swap is a community-driven initiative focused on promoting sustainable fashion, reducing waste, and fostering meaningful social connections. Designed to make sustainable fashion accessible and social, the event encourages attendees to bring along quality pre-loved clothing and accessories to exchange for new finds — giving garments a second life while reducing textile waste.
