What?Loddon Valley’s Best Wool Best Lamb Group are having a series of workshops on lucerne. Session 2 will cover a recap of session 1’s focus on agronomy but its highlight will be lucerne production and economic advantages.
Who?
Guest speaker Kieran Ransom has undertaken research and economic assessments demonstrating the value and versatility of lucerne within sheep production systems. This session will provide an opportunity for producers to discuss current on-farm
practices and compare these with Kieran’s locally informed insights and recommendations.
While lucerne offers significant production benefits, it also presents animal health risks that local sheep veterinarian Frankie Collett will also cover.
