Concert 4 '26: Celtic Echoes: The Music of Kazimierz Machala

Monash University Community Horn Day. Sunday 28th June 2026. As a finale to the day at 6pm, The Grainger Wind Symphony is performing two major works by Polish composer Kaz Machala, retired Principal Horn, Sydney Symphony Orchestra. One is the brilliant Concerto for Horn in 3 movements, with horn soloist Peter Luff. The final work is Celtic Scents, is a vibrant seven-movement suite that musically paints the vibrant wildflowers, herbs, and trees associated with the ancient landscapes of the Celtic fringes of Europe. Tickets Trybooking to book a ticket, cash only at the door. $25, $20, $10 for Monash students with ID.BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL AS THE VENUE IS SMALL.
