These concerts will explore elements of crossing over and genre cross-overs in elegies composed through time. The Elegy Project will sing, play, share, inspire, and provoke you as they express elegiac music with innovation and storytelling.

Elegy by Elder and Rachmaninov, Both Sides Now by Mitchell, Lonely Woman by Coleman, When I am Laid by Purcell, Salve Regina by de Lassus, Cordero and Orbán, Funeral March by Chopin, Over and Over by Cook, O Albion by Adés, folk songs Shenandoah and Careless Love, plus Australian works - Aquatint by Oliver Cameron and Lazarus Drug by Megan Washington.
The Elegy Project features
- Jazz Quartet - Rachael Thoms (voice), Christopher Pound (double bass), Micah Knight (piano) and Gus Henderson-Mack (drums)
- Vocal Dectet - Ruby Bunnett and Emma Griffiths (soprano), Petra Lindsey, Veronica Thwaites-Brown and Neille Williams (altos), Oliver Bruhl and Cody Christopher (tenors), Martin Magill, Lachlan Rankin and Daniel Westbury (basses)
- Solo piano and direction - Kimberley Steele
Tickets will also be available at the door for all concerts.
