Fathers of the Oak Comedy Night

Dear WPPS Dads,We would like to introduce you to our 'Fathers of the Oak' program. 'Fathers of the Oak' is an initiative at Wonga Park Primary School that seeks to connect Dads with their children, as well as to other Dads in the wider school community. It is an initiative supported by the Fathering Project. More information about the Fathering Project can be found at their website; thefatheringproject.org
The Fathering Project uses research to create transformational programs to help Fathers, and Father figures, be the best Dads they can be. They aim to help Dads strengthen their engagement with the children in their lives, which benefits the child and the wider community.
To facilitate connection with Dads in our community we are in the process of organising our first Dads social event for the year in late May. This will be a comedy night featuring Pete Helliar & Sonia Di Iorio hosted by the Sporting Globe.
Following are the important details you'll need to know about the night:
● When: Thursday May 21st
● Time: 6:00pm
● Where: The Sporting Globe Chirnside Park
● Cost: $33.75
It would be great to see as many of our new and regular Wonga Park Dads and Father figures as possible at the event to connect with you and welcome you to our school community.
