In 2026 Gardens for Wildlife Melbourne will continue to host exciting speakers as an opportunity for our network of habitat gardeners, to learn and collaborate through a series of online sessions focused on habitat gardening and caring for wildlife in backyards.Our third session for 2026 will be on Wednesday 16 September. Hear from Dr Julian Brown and Dr Katherine Horsfall from the University of Melbourne, on how a vital native bee highway can start in your own backyard.

- 13 May 2026: designing gardens with indigenous plants with Emmaline Bowman
- 16 September 2026: building bee highways with Dr. Julian Brown and Dr. Katherine Horsfall
