Granny squares are a beginner-friendly crochet project often used to make blankets, clothing, bags and cushion covers. They are a super handy way to use leftover yarn to make something both versatile and useful. Join us at Thread Shed to learn how to make these foundation pieces. Bring your own crochet hook (size 4 or 5) or borrow one of ours. We have some yarn available, or you can bring yours (medium/worsted weight) if you prefer.Thread Shed is a community based organisation designed to share skills and promote the reuse or refashioning of 'waste' textiles. Join us in a friendly and relaxed environment and get to know new people too! Tea and coffee provided. Class fee of $5 goes toward supplies and maintenance of equipment.
