Train Smarter by C2D Running and StretchLab Subiaco
About
Train Smarter. A free workshop by C2D Running and StretchLab SubiacoMost runners are training in the grey zone — working too hard to recover properly, but not hard enough to drive real adaptation. The result? Progress stalls, injury risk climbs, and running stops being fun.
This free evening workshop cuts through the noise and shows you what the science actually says about how to train better — whether you're chasing a PB, building your first 5K, or just trying to stay consistent.
What we'll cover:
* Why most runners are stuck in the grey zone — and how to get out
* Polarised training: the 80/20 principle used by the world's best endurance athletes
* How recovery drives adaptation (and why your easy days matter as much as your hard ones)
* The role of soft tissue work and flexibility in a structured training programme — and how StretchLab fits in
You'll leave with a clearer picture of your training zones, a framework you can apply immediately, and a better understanding of how structured running and recovery work together.
No experience required. Suitable for all levels — beginners through to competitive runners.
Free entry. Spaces are limited — register to secure your spot.
