Group Supervision: Unpacking clinical complexity
About
This group supervision session is facilitated by Rachel Elliott, Occupational Therapist at Nurturing Connections OT.Topic: When things feel stuck: unpacking clinical complexity
This session is for those clients, situations, or dynamics where things feel a bit unclear, stuck, or unresolved… where you find yourself thinking:
* “I’m not fully sure what’s going on here”
* “I’ve tried a few things but it’s not really shifting”
* or “I feel like I’m missing something”
Rather than focusing on strategies or problem-solving, this session will be more reflective and discussion-based. I’ll loosely use the PEO model (Person–Environment–Occupation) to help guide our thinking and unpack different layers that may be contributing to the complexity.
Together, we’ll explore:
* what might be contributing to the stuckness
* what’s already been tried
* assumptions that may be sitting underneath
* and what we may not yet be exploring
You don’t need to prepare anything formal, just bring along a client or situation that feels complex or challenging at the moment.
