This training will be delivered by Lifeline and is designed to equip participants with practical skills to support people experiencing distress. The course focuses on the Recognise, Respond and Refer model and includes:
- Identifying signs of distress
- Supporting conversations in a safe and non-judgemental way
- Navigating sensitive topics such as suicide
- Understanding the importance of self-care when supporting others
