The Nuclear-Powered Submarine (NPS) Program is one of the most significant industrial and technical endeavours in Australian history. It will deliver significant benefits to WA industry, jobs, infrastructure and our defence capability to keep Australians safe.Join us for a community information session with representatives from the Australian Submarine Agency, Navy, Department of Defence, nuclear agencies and the WA Government to learn more about the NPS Program and what it means for your community.
Registration
Due to limited capacity, we ask that participants register for one session only in either Kwinana or East Fremantle. Registration is mandatory and only those who are registered will be admitted.
Format
The first part (30 mins) of the session from 9:30am - 10am is allocated for attendees to browse information stands and speak to representatives on aspects of the NPS Program such as submarines, nuclear safety and stewardship.
The second part (60 mins) of the session from 10am - 11am will include NPS Program updates and a facilitated Q&A using the Slido online platform.
Please feel free to arrive and leave at any time during the event from 9:30am - 11am.
