Pilgrim School Musical - "Jonah's Druthers"
Jonah’s Druthers retells the Bible story of Jonah in a Wild West setting. The musical follows Jonah as he is called by God to bring a message to the city of Nineveh and struggles with the decision to obey. As the story unfolds, Jonah faces challenges around trust and responsibility, learning that doing the right thing can be difficult but meaningful. Through his experiences and encounters with others, the story highlights themes of listening to God, showing compassion, and acting with courage. The production explores key Christian values and emphasises that God’s love is for everyone, while showing how faith and obedience can shape a person’s character and sense of purpose.
