Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the voices and stories of Irish women in film.On Thursday, 21st of May from 6.00PM–9:00 PM, the Gaelic Club Sydney (1/64 Devonshire St
Surry Hills NSW 2010) will host a curated showcase of short films by Irish women from Ireland and across the diaspora. These intimate works explore milestones and relationships that shape women’s lives—first kisses, sisterhood, caring for loved ones at the end of life, queer love, motherhood, and marriage.
Come experience a powerful collection of stories that reflect women’s lives with honesty, tenderness, and strength. The 2026 Irish Women's Short Film Festival programme features a variety of incredible short films all under 15 minutes in length. Bring a friend, connect with community, and celebrate storytelling that resonates across generations and borders.
